Nice friendly staff, and good soups and good desserts (pies/cakes), but after eating there multiple times, I have yet to find an entree that was better than a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The chicken is rather tough and leathery, and the other meat entrees (beef and pork) tend to be overly salted. Good soups though! And really good pecan pie (when they have it in stock)!

I asked for my home fries to be extra crispy, but when they came out they were not even browned. The waitress sent them back, but to owner said that if I don't like them, too bad. Eat something else. I told them they just lost a customer, and the didn't care.
