This is the place to go. I've only been in Delaware for a couple of weeks now and gotten my haircut twice. The first place I went to was less than ideal. Then I found Amstel. I won't go anywhere else while I'm here. The atmosphere is chill AF and the barbers are cool AF. Hell by the time I left I was thinking, "Man these dudes are the type of dudes that you can crack open a beer and chill with." Dope AF.
The problem is, you can't do that unless you come here. You can't even come close. You might drip a little...but you ain't gonna ooze it unless you get in one of the chairs here like cold beer gets in your belly.
You'll walk in a normal slob like the rest of the world, but you'll walk out like the damn king you were born to be. Again...just oozing that sexiness everywhere. You'll see people just start slipping when they walk behind you...but you won't give a damn.
I used to go to other barbershops my whole time living in Delaware, but I always felt like they could've done a better job. Then I tried Amstel, and I loved it. I went for the first time with my brother, and I've been going back ever since. Already told lots of my buddies about this place, and they've loved their cuts too. This place is a real BARBERSHOP ... No spas, no massages. Just a great place to go get a fresh cut from some cool dudes for a great price. The atmosphere is great, and there's virtually no wait (unless they're busier than usual). Each barber is very talented at cutting hair, so there's never really a need to ask for a certain barber imo. They're very careful meticulous, and they will make sure that they give you exactly what you asked for. I feel like you never have to worry about not having a hairstyle come out they way you thought it would when you go here; they really do an awesome job. They manage to do a great job pretty quickly, too! It's like you're in and out of there in no more than half an hour if you're there for just an average clean up. Amstel is really one of those places where you truly feel that you got every penny's worth of what you paid for. Definitely recommend it.
Google you better post this review since I didn't spell out what AF stands for this time.
Took my son's to get a cut on a Saturday afternoon. No long wait or that dreaded "barbers friend" priority that other shops seem to have, that will leave you waiting an hour or more. First come first served seemed to be well observed. Very nice atmosphere and professional barbers. Got two great looking cuts in about 45 mins. Will be back.
Great cut, fair price. Me and my brother go there all the time; the barbers are great.
