I've been to the Middletown Grotto's many times and I've always been treated very well here. And on top of the excellent service and food, they also have great discounts for us military veterans (Just remember to ask about it).
We went for trivia on Wednesday. We had a blast and the service was great with standard grotto pizza
Went with large group and were sat at double table but wish the waitress would have moved us to a bigger room for space and also wish she asked if we wanted separate checks since she knew some of us already had drinks flowing thru us not to be able to think that quick to let her know but other then those 2 things it was good experience
It doesn't matter if it's a night out with the squad at the sports bar section or a relaxing evening with the family in the main seating areas, this is a great place to have a great time and fantastic food.
I personally dislike the food here, but the staff was great. I must say though, the Grotto location on the boardwalk does taste different and is more tolerable
I've always been a fan of the original Grotto's Pizza down at the beaches and I'm now happy to report that the experiences and professionalism you love at the original locations can be found right around the corner from home.
Good pie, seated and served a table of 11 of us quickly. Gelato very tasty, would go again.
