A family member had a session with Melinda King for severe anxiety, panic attacks, and suicidal thoughts. Had another appointment scheduled for Wednesday and she had an emergency. Rescheduled for Monday and cancelled again for another “emergency” 1 hour prior to appointment time with no availability until the new year! Completely unprofessional!!! How do you do that to someone with those symptoms?! When I called to voice my frustration I was told they don’t handle emergencies. I fully recognize mental health is not achieved overnight but she really needed someone to talk to and hopefully achieve some coping techniques. So sad that a therapist would be so inconsiderate. Don’t bother.
