I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She will not speak to you on the phone for even the most simple questions. She wants you to make an appointment, pay the co-pay and bill you for visitation. This all could have been resolved by a simple phone call, but we visited her twice before and twice since the eye doctor. She tried to bill us for coming in and asking what to do next. SHE IS ONLY IN THIS FOR THE MONEY!
Her attitude is, "I have 1000 patients, I don't have time for you". Yes, thats her saying that to me when I asked her why she couldn't explain this over the phone.
After being on the phone with the secretary for 10 minutes, the doctor tells her to tell me to go to a Neurologist OR an eye doctor, so they have proper documentation that we wen through the procedures before she signs anything.
I wish there was a way to give ZERO STARS. She will not answer any questions over the phone, don't believe her other reviews. She wants you to make appointments for the smallest things so she can bill you and take your co-pay. 100%
I switched doctors and have found Doctor Khandelwal to be excellent. She is very patient and explains her findings, caring, and very knowledgeable. I recommend her to my friends.
Dr. Rashmi Khandelwala is not a professional. Sure, she is a doctor, but not a professional healthcare provider. If you want someone to not pick up the phone calls or give call backs... yet have the secretary to call back explaining medical terms and diagnosis then she is perfect for you.
Ok, so this started with my wife prescribed migraine medication, due to the fact she gets these severe migraine from direct sunlight while driving. We got tinted windows to help, which fixed her issue right away. But per DE law we need a waiver signed, which has to be done by our primary practitioner. We reach out to Dr. Khandelwala's office stating the facts that migraine are gone due to the tints and she uses less of the strong medication she prescribed. The secretary states doctor cannot get on the phone to discus. Of course, I would want my family doctor to get on the phone to give simple explanation or resolution to the situation, but I guess thats too much to ask.
We went to an Eye Doctor, gave her the records that we did go. All we wanted at this point is for her to sign the waiver or tell us what the next steps are. But before we do that, her first few sentences out of her mouth were the most awful things out a professional doctor said to a patient. So much attitude, so much aggressive tone, and lack of understanding and explanation of what we can do to resolve this issue. Of course if Tinted Windows are helping, why would my wife want to keep taking drugs all her life.
Dr. K has been my primary care doctor for over 3 years now. She is a wonderful doctor that takes her time with her patients. She never makes me feel like she's trying to rush things along to get to the next client like some doctor's I've had in the past. She is very thorough. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
