I came here by accident. I was following route 9 south until I got here to take good pictures on nuclear power plant which is located on NJ site.
Someone pushed a small boat into the river to enjoy.
This is a lovely place to walk near the river, especially if you find power plants scenic. The wind in the grasses is peaceful and there are a lot of interesting rocks on the beach, particularly quartz and agate pebbles. It is popular with motorcycle enthusiasts. The historic town of Port Penn is quaint and the surrounding marshes are beautiful.

Small area but a pretty decent one. There are many opportunities for clicking some good pics around here. You will find this place quiet usually except for a few picnic goers and a few fishing. Nice place to spend an hour or two at sunset.
Peaceful and pretty at low tide. View of the nuclear power plant isn't ideal. No garbage receptacles, but surprisingly clean anyway.
