Sunday morning as I'm leaving to go to church I discover I've picked up a nail in my tire and it is very low. My first thought was nothing will be open on a Sunday, but I Googled nearby tire repair shops and found Mr Tire was only 3 blocks from my church. I was able to drive my car that far. When I first arrived they indicated they were already very busy and it would be late afternoon before they could take care of my car. I have to admit this annoyed me and I got a little pissy with them. However they stayed polite and professional and didn't allow my bad mood to affect the way they treated me. After some introspection I apologize to them for my bad behavior and they were very gracious. I then arrange for someone to pick me up and I left my car in their care. To my amazement and delight, less than 2 hours later I received the call that my car was ready to go. I didn't have to cancel my afternoon plans of Christmas shopping after all.
Made an appt. for an oil change and they called me the day before and said they couldn't do it because mechanic called out. Ok things happen. Meanwhile I pay 50 bucks a lube and tube outfit.Very next visit. I'm the 1st one in line at 715 am to get a tire plugged. Woman tells me to drop it off and they'll get to it sometime in the day. A simple plug takes all day? Never again!!! Once pleased now pissed.
I had a great experience when I bought my car in for service. They checked got me in and out and were very diligent.
KNOW........that your customer service either keeps your sales up or brings it down.
Worst service ever. I broke down on Rt. 1. I called to get a tire patched. They refused to patch it. I called at 1:30pm and they don't close till five. Now am on the side of the road with my family searching for another place. The closest is at least 25 miles away.
Yesterday, I called around to several places for tires, alignment and oil change. Customer service failed in many. They rushed me off the phone like they had no time for me. Well, guess what.....I won't give you my time, nor my business.
I'm giving them five stars because they finished more than four hours ahead of schedule and they stayed professional and polite when I got snotty with them for something that was not their fault. I highly recommend mr. Tire!
The cost was a little higher then I had experienced in the past with other patches, however they explained their process and it sounds much more durable so I felt it was worth it.
Mr. TIRES WINS for being polite, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and having patience. Thank you for knowing how to treat a customer! BTW.....GREAT JOB ON THE CAR TOO ;)
